Is Control PS4 Pro and Xbox One X Enhanced?

For those playing the game on Xbox One X, you’ll be glad to know that Control is indeed enhanced to take full advantage of your souped up console.

The game will run at 4K resolution, and is capped at 30 frames per second. From what we’ve seen of the game so far, there do not seem to be any graphical settings for you to tweak or play around with.

Over on the PS4 Pro, you’re also looking at upscaled 4K resolution, though it’s worth noting that the Xbox One X is capable of native 4K output.

As such, that’s something to keep in mind if you’re debating which of these consoles to pick Control up for.

Similar to the Xbox One X version, the PS4 Pro version of the game is also capped at 30 frames per seconds, with no graphical settings to speak of.

So if you were hoping to enjoy the game at 60fps, you might want to consider getting the game on PC instead, where Control has ray tracing support as well if you’re rocking a 20-series graphics card.

To sum up, here’s what you need to know about the ‘enhanced’ versions of Control:

  1. Xbox One X

    Native 4K, capped at 30fps.

  2. PS4 Pro

    Upscaled 4K, capped at 30fps.

That’s all you need to know about whether Control is PS4 Pro and Xbox One X enhanced. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our Control guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
