Today Marvelous Entertainment revealed a treat for fans of the upcoming mecha game Daemon X Machina.

The publisher released a short anime cutscene of the game, providing another look at the fascinating world that we’ll soon get to experience. It’s basically the prologue of the story created by the team behind the Macross anime series.

Interestingly, the cutscene also features the Prototype Arsenal and Prototype Plugusuit that you can get by pre-ordering the game.

You can enjoy it below. It’s certainly worth the four minutes and change of your time that it takes to watch it.

If you want to see more of Daemon X Machina (and after watching this video, I don’t know why you wouldn’t), you can check out the latest trailer and the previous trailer showcasing the improvements made to the already good demo released a few months ago.

We also have another video featuring the game’s epic story, the gameplay showcased at E3 alongside a second, extensive video. You can then enjoy the trailer revealed at the Nintendo Direct and plenty of official screenshots from the E3 press kit, and more images showing the pilots and mecha of Bullet Works.

Daemon X Machina releases exclusively for Nintendo Switch on September 13, 2019.  An “Orbital Limited Edition” has been announced for the European market.
