Just a couple of days ago we learned that the title is coming in English this month, but today we learn the precise date, July 30.

If you want to see more about the game, you can enjoy three gameplay clips below from Muv-Luv Alternative Chronicles Adoration, one of the sub-stories included in the package which in-depth into the much-awaited European front of the Alternative universe.

We also get plenty of screenshots including Muv-Luv Altered Fable – A Shimmering Shard of Space-Time, which is basically the conclusion of Takeru’s journey after Alternative and represents much-needed solace following the traumatic events of Operation Ouka.

Below you can read an official description of Photonmelodies directly from Anchor.

In 2015, Muv-Luv’s creators raised over 1 million dollars in a Kickstarter to bring five games over to the west: Muv-Luv Extra, Muv-Luv Unlimited, Muv-Luv Alternative, Muv-Luv photonflowers, and Muv-Luv photonmelodies. Now, after 5 years, they’re finally ready to release photonmelodies, the last game promised to backers.

photonmelodies depicts the end of the journey for Muv-Luv protagonist Takeru, an ordinary high school student who finds himself trapped in another world and caught up in a brutal war against alien invaders called the BETA. The series is famous for its brutality, gore, and unflinching depiction of trauma and the realities of war. Now, in photonmelodies, Takeru has returned home to his peaceful life in Japan, and the girls he loves are all waiting for him.

A more lighthearted take on the Muv-Luv universe than previous games, photonmelodies still has the same things that make the series great.

The game also contains two additional stories that expand further on the Muv-Luv universe: Adoration, a story about Europe’s struggles against the alien BETA onslaught, and Resurrection, a story about a cybernetic spy infiltrating a Japanese base.

The game will be available on Steam priced at $29.99.

During the latest Muv-Luv event, we also saw new gameplay of the new Muv-Luv action game Project Mikhail, Muv-Luv Unlimited The Day After was announced for the west, and the Muv-Luv Alternative manga was also announced coming digitally in English.
