Today, during the Muv-Luv Expo livestream, Anchor shared a brand new gameplay video of its upcoming game code-named Project Mikhail.
We also learn that the game is an online multiplayer game in which all players will play within a single world.
The video showcases a look at customization and battle gameplay, but keep in mind that this is pre-alpha gameplay so it’s still very much unfinished.
On top of that, showcased here is the mobile version of the game, but the PC version will actually be the lead platform for Project Mikhail.
You can check it out below.
We also get a few slides including more information about the game including an explanation of how the story will work.
Players will be able to make choices influencing the outcome of the stories and taking a look at different perspectives that were not shown in previous games.
As for the gameplay, it’ll involve piloting TSF to do battle against the BETA. Players will be able to use their favorite Muv-Luv weapons and the more they use them, the better they’ll become, unlocking new abilities and improving stats.
Loot with randomized properties will be dropped during battles, letting you upgrade and customize your TSF however you want.
As a bonus, we also get a few slides and new artwork of the other Muv-Luv game in development, Project Immortal.
During the same event, Muv-Luv Photonmelodies got a new release window, Muv-Luv Unlimited The Day After was announced for the west, and the Muv-Luv Alternative manga was also announced coming digitally in English.
Project Mikhail is coming in 2021 for PC, iOS, and Android. You can also check out the previous trailer from a few weeks ago.
