We start by taking a look at the Fortress of Doom, which is basically your home base and hub area.

It looks like our Slayer is a nerd with a rocking gaming setup.

Yes. The developers like to pause videos a lot.

We then get to see an example of the Master Level feature, which is a more challenging version that gets unlocked after completing a default level in the campaign.

Of course, you can still set the difficulty level.

Then the developers moved on to show live Master Level gameplay. Incidentally, we also get to see controller customization which this time around allows full freedom.

We also hear that all cutscenes are rendered in real time, so all the cosmetic will be showcased when you watch them.

Beating the game on Ultra Nightmare will be rewarded in a “cool” way.

Another detail shared was that in the first two DLC we’ll explore “who runs Hell.”

Doom Eternal  is coming on March 20 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. A Nintendo Switch version is planned for later this year.

If you’d like to see more about the game, you can check out the Battlemode gameplay from yesterday, the latest trailer, a recent TV commercial, another about available pre-orders, and plenty of gameplay.

If that’s not enough, you should also read our semi-recent hands-on preview.
