The screenshots showcase an interesting feature coming with the game, that features the seven titular dragon ball scattered across its world.

By locating and collecting them, players will be able to summon Shenron himself, and resurrect defeated enemies.

If you fight against them once more, you might unlock new dialogue options. For instance, if you resurrect Frieza after unlocking Goku’s Super Sayian 3 form (which Frieza never actually saw in the original anime), they will share a conversation that you’ve never experienced before.

You can enjoy the screenshots below, alongside key artwork showing Goku with the many enemies you can beat into a pulp and then revive.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 17, 2020.
