Predictably, we got the announcement of a character joining the roster, and it’s  Rachel from Ninja Gaiden.

We already knew a new character was coming with the third season pass, and we can expect a release in December.

You can check out the announcement trailer below (and the English version at the bottom of the post).

We also learn about a crossover costume set with the “How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?” anime.

The set will include 16 costumes, and it’ll be November’s entry in the Season pass, coming on November 26. A game update will also come at the same time.

Interestingly, a look at the end of the trailer reveals that there is another “Revival” costume set coming, and that one will include 28 costumes. This means that the dudes are getting something, as long as you’re willing to pay extra.

We then learn that the Core Fighters package has been downloaded 2 million times, and we’re getting the costume in the image below for free as a “Thank you” on November 26 as well. Two more costumes will come in following patches.

On top of that, Producer Yohei Shimbori announced of a collaboration with Gust’s JRPGs (which will include costumes from Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout), and the tease that a character from Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation will join the playable cast of Dead or Alive 6 down the line.

While the specific identity of the upcoming character was not revealed, looks like one of them is a fighter, after all.

We also see the winners of the costume design contest, which will be implemented in the game at some point as is tradition for the series.

Incidentally, the World Championship was won by Hoodless in an all-American grand final against CrazySteady.
