Normally Super Robot Wars games and similar titles by Bandai Namco don’t come west, but if you’re tired to have to import the English version from Asia, the publisher has good news about SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays.
The caveat is that the game will come west only for PC via Steam. If you want it for PS4 and Switch, you’ll still have to get the version with English subtitles from South East Asia.
That being said, this is still great because it allows PC players to completely bypass any region locking on Steam.
The release date is November 28, 2019, which is actually the same as all other regions.
Update: Bandai Namco reached out with a small correction, mentioning that the release in North America will be on November 27. It’s likely still at the same time as in the other regions, but the game is probably coming out worldwide when it’ll be still the 27 in the North American region due to the time difference.
The Steam listing is already available with both a standard and a limited edition priced at $59.99 and $84.99 respectively.
