New Code Vein Weapon Trailer Shows the Sword in Action

Today Bandai Namco Entertainment released a trailer of the upcoming Souls-like action-JRPG Code Vein.

The trailer showcases the one-handed sword, which is one of the many weapons available to slice and dice the Lost in the game. Being quick and balanced, it’s a good starter weapon for those looking to get to grips with the game’s mechanics.

You can watch it in action below, and see if it entices you.

Incidentally, this is likely the beginning of a series of trailers dedicated to weapons, so we can probably expect more coming down the line.

Code Vein releases on September 27 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

While the game was supposed to come last year, it was delayed, and the developers remained silent for a long time besides a piece of artwork in the new year and a tease about new reveals.

If you want to see more, you can take a look at some spiffy gameplay, and a recent trailer with commentary from the developers, and the latest story trailer that revealed the release date, and another video focusing on the boss Oliver Collins.

We also have a hands-on preview for your perusal and we recently interviewed the game’s Producer.
