Devil May Cry 5 Demo for PS4 and Xbox One Will Have New Devil Breaker, New Actions, and More

Following the announcement earlier today that both PS4 and Xbox One will get a new Devil May Cry 5 demo, the Japanese arm of Capcom provided more info via press release.

We learn that there will be several additions compared to the demo released in December exclusively for Xbox One.

First of all, the new Devil Breaker “Punch Line” will be added,  and new actions will be implemented. Furthermore, Nico’s shop will be opened for purchases. It’ll also be possible to save and to improve Nero’s skills.

At the moment it’s unknown whether the playable level will be the same as in the previous version, but Director Hideaki Itsuno did mention earlier today that the demo is “different” compared to the earlier release.

The demo will launch on Feb. 7, and as mentioned earlier, it’s coming for both PS4 and Xbox One. Unfortunately, no mention has been made of a PC trial, which suggests that it simply won’t come.

If you want to see more about Devil May Cry 5, you can enjoy the latest gameplay showing the Cameo Mode, a brand new gameplay trailer featuring V, and another showcasing a song by L’Arc-en-Ciel’s Hyde.

We also recently learned that the game is going to be pretty naughty in words and deeds, probably surprising no one ever.

The game is scheduled to launch worldwide on March 8 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
