Are you a Splatoon 2 fan? Well, heed this friendly reminder. The Halloween Splatfest goes live tonight (Oct. 13) in North America starting at 9 PM in the West and at 12 AM on the East Coast.
Have you forgotten the theme of this Splatfest? No sweat! You will be able to choose if you prefer Vampires or Werewolves in a #2spooky competition that feels right for this time of year. Just try not to think about how much it resembles the Edward Vs Jacob fighting that took place when Twilight was dominating a number of conversations.
This is the first time since the release of Splatoon 2 that Europe and North America have had different Splatfests planned. Previously the two regions have shared in determining which superpower they would prefer, but Europe broke away initially in comparing the proper way to hang a roll of toilet paper.
There are also some changes coming via DLC just before the event kicks off. Fans will be able to purchase, with in-game currency, of course, the new Custom E-liter 4K and a Custom E-liter 4K Scope. The main difference between these guns is the range they can be fired at.
This update is set to go live just 2 hours before the Splatfest begins, so be ready to update your game starting at 7 PM PST or 10 PM EST depending on where you hail from.
Splatoon 2 is a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
