Drinkbox Studios announced via Twitter the release date for Guacamelee! 2 on both the Windows 10 and the Xbox One, and thankfully it’s quite soon. Set to launch on January 18th, players on Microsoft platforms can help Juan save the Mexiverse once again in the hilarious sequel to 2013’s Guacamelee!
Originally released for the PlayStation 4, Guacamelee! 2 is a ridiculous Metroidvania-style action-platformer set in a colorful world full of Luchador’s, chickens and demons. Donning the mask of Juan Aguacate once more, players must wrestle their way through some truly wonderful platforming sections while laying the smack down on the forces of evil with an assortment of outrageous wrestling moves. What truly elevates Guacamelee! 2 above other games of its genre is its fantastic sense of humor and its constant barrage of Mexican/wrestling puns that will leave you in stitches.
We’re excited to finally reveal that Guacamelee! 2 is launching January 18th through @ID_Xbox on #XboxOne and #Windows10! (Purchase once to receive both versions)
