Gears 5 developer The Coalition detailed the new additions for Operation 5 Hollow Storm, which include characters and maps from previous Gears of War titles.

The new characters featured in the new Operation are Dizzy Wallin, Tai Kaliso, Anya Stroud, and Skorge that can be purchased from the in-game store or as part of a bundle. Players can also earn Gears Tactics’ protagonist Gabe Diaz by completing the Gears Tactics tutorial.

Gears 5 players who have downloaded the update this morning have found WWE wrestlers Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods appeared briefly as part of the playable roster. The game added fellow WWE alumni Dave Batista last year to multiplayer and to campaign as a replacement for Marcus in an update last week.

The update adds five maps with new maps Nexus and Regency, and Gridlock, Clocktower, and River returning from previous entries. The Scorcher flamethrower also returns from Gears of War 2.

Operation 5 Hollow Storm brings a new Tour of Duty with various cosmetic items, and big changes to cooperative and competitive multiplayer that the studio detailed earlier this week along with patch notes of bug fixes.

Gears 5 Operation 5 Hollow Storm is now available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
