Koei Tecmo released a new batch of images and information about its upcoming JRPG-meets-town builder Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World.
We get to see some of the many characters that will appear from the Arland, Twilight, and Mysterious series.
Another interesting reveal is the “Gate to another world” that appears as a post-story content. Once you clear the game, you’ll be able to find gates that will spawn random demons of increasing power. You can enjoy fighting them with your chosen party and see how far you get against the growing horde. From the fifth stage onward, boss demons will also come out of the gates, so things will get pretty challenging.
On top of that, a bunch of DLC packages have also been announced. These DLC will be part of a season pass that will be distributed as a first-print bonus in Japan.
Two Gust 25th Anniversary BGM Packs will be released in Japan on Jan. 31 and Feb. 7. They will include respectively 120 and 110 tracks from past Gust Games like Ciel No Surge, Ar No Surge, Nights of Azure and its sequel, and Blue Reflection.
On Feb. 14 Gust’s own mascot Gust-chan will join the cast as a recruitable character.
On Feb. 21 the Atelier 20th Anniversary Thanksgiving House will launch, followed on Feb 28 by the Memory of the Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, which is basically a statue with the likeness of Sophie.
Last, but not least, we see Nelke’s costume reproducing the outfit of Wilbell Voll-Ersleid from the Dusk series. It’ll come as part of the limited editions of the game.
