Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists Gets New Trailer Showing Gameplay and Characters

Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World

Today Koei Tecmo released a brand new trailer of its upcoming city-building/JRPG hybrid Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World.

The video provides a good look at the many classic Atelier characters that we’ll be able to recruit in the game, coming from the previous games of the series. We also get to see the town-building mechanics and the fact that we can assign characters to various tasks like shopkeeping, gathering, and crafting.

All characters have their strengths and weakness, so the player will have to be careful about who gets to do what.

This is certainly quite an interesting departure from the usual Atelier fare, and the city-building mechanics might bring a breath of fresh air to the franchise, even if this is technically just a spinoff.

You can check out the trailer below. If you want to see more of Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World, you can also enjoy the latest screenshots showcasing Judie, Shallie, Iris, and Norn, and the latest gameplay released a few days ago showing research.

The game will hit the North American shelves for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Mar. 26, while European players will be able to play a few days later (as usual) on Mar. 29, 2018.
