Today Microsoft narrowed the release window of its next-generation console, the Xbox Series X.

According to the announcement, the console will launch in November, even if Microsoft has not yet provided a specific date.

This matches the release window of all Xbox consoles including the original one, the Xbox 360, ad the Xbox One (even if the first two launched in November only in North America), so Microsoft is sticking to its traditions.

Interestingly, the console won’t be supported by its most prominent former launch title Halo Infinite, which has been delayed to 2021 with an announcement revealed at the same time.

Of course, the Xbox Series X will still have plenty of games to enjoy at launch, especially thanks to Microsoft’s commitment to backward compatibility and Xbox Game Pass, which certainly seems to be what Microsoft sees as its ultimate trump card for the upcoming generation.

Another missing piece of the puzzle is the rumored Xbox Series S, which appears to lack only an official confirmation by now.

It appears to be a more affordable and less powerful version of the Xbox Series X, but we don’t know when it’ll launch or its specific features.

For now, we’ll have to wait for further

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
