The trailer introduces the game’s characters, but unlike yesterday’s it focuses primarily on Ciel instead of Arcueid Brunestud.

You can enjoy the video below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon, it was originally an eroge released for Windows in December 2000 by Type-Moon, the creators of the Fate series. It was then adapted in 2003 into an anime series titled Shingetsutan Tsukihime.

It also inspired the Melty Blood fighting game series, and that’s also getting a new game, Melty Blood: Type Lumina.

Written by the extremely prolific Kinoko Nasu, it’s considered the predecessor of that Fate/stay night that spawned the super-popular Fate franchise. The similarities are certainly quite visible.

It has never been officially localized in English, so we’ll have to wait and see whether the remake will make it to the west or not. For the moment, nothing has been announced.

The game will launch in Japan for PS4 and Nintendo Switch on August 26, 2021. If you want to see more, you can watch the original trailer, more screenshots, and the latest trailer focusing on Ciel’s route.
