As usual, the new update brings plenty of new content and features to enjoy, including the framework for adding dynamic events within the universe, as the title certainly suggests.

You can check out the trailer below and find the patch notes here.

Among the features included in the patch are refinery decks in space stations, improved security response from the UEE Navy, gas clouds, the new Esperia Talon and Esperia Shrike ships, the portable tractor beam, new weapons and the ability to zero sniper rifles, environmental reworks for planets and moons, a new mining UI, eye-tracking support, and the aforementioned dynamic event functionality.

Just today we saw another spectacular cinematic short providing a good look at the developers’ ability to deliver high-quality storytelling.

If you want to learn more about Star Citizen, we recently got a sizable update on the progress of the single-player campaign Squadron 42. On top of that, we recently heard that a new studio has been opened to create new systems and content for Star Citizen.

For the sake of full disclosure, the author of this article has been a Star Citizen backer since the original Kickstarter campaign several years ago, so you should keep that in mind while reading.
