Another two games have been added to Microsoft’s growing library of Xbox One backwards compatible titles today, both from Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell franchise.

The first game is Splinter Cell: Double Agent, which released for the Xbox 360 in 2006 and was the first title in the series to launch for that generation of consoles. The second game is Splinter Cell: Blacklist, released in 2013, and is currently the last installment for the franchise.

Both Xbox 360 titles are now available to play on Xbox One, so long as players still own the original discs to put in the system or have bought it through the digital marketplace. If already owned digitally, the games will automatically appear in the library of the My Games and Apps menu to be installed.

Ubisoft has not done much with Splinter Cell since its sixth game, Blacklist, launched in 2013 until this year. Series protagonist Sam Fisher did appear in a special crossover mission for another Ubisoft title, Ghost Recon Wildlands, as part of a free add-on last April. Meanwhile, 2010’s Splinter Cell: Conviction was recently featured as an Xbox Games With Gold title this month, allowing Xbox Live Gold members to download the game for free from July 16-31.
