During its Tokyo Game Show 2020 Presentation Sega showcased plenty of gameplay of the upcoming JRPG Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster.
We get to see plenty of battle against demons, which look familiar but also fresh thanks to the new coat of paint given to the graphics of the remaster.
You can check it out below.
Incidentally, we also learn that a new livestream will be broadcasted on October 26, which is just before the release of the game in Japan. You can find it embedded below if you want to watch it when it goes live.
Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster will be released in spring 2021 in North America and Europe. Japanese gamers will be able to enjoy the game earlier, on October 29, for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
The remaster will add voices to event cutscenes and improve the graphics and will also add a difficulty level on top of the original “normal” and “hard.” You can choose a “Merciful” level that will be available as free DLC to let you enjoy the story without sweating the details of the gameplay too much.
If you want to see more, you can enjoy the original reveal on top of an extended trailer and the first screenshots, the first gameplay, tons more screenshots, three trailers showing the game’s demons, and the latest trailer.
Incidentally, if you’re interested in the Shin Megami Tensei series, we recently saw a brand new trailer of Shin Megami Tensei V, which is coming to Nintendo Switch also in 2021.
