New Shenmue III Video Focuses on the Story, Ryo, and Shenhua

Today Ys Net released another new video of Yu Suzuki’s next game Shenmue III, which will finally continue the long-paused story of the first two games.

The story is exactly what the video is about. While it’s in Japanese, Suzuki-san himself tells the tale of the original games, also mentioning that Shenmue III will include a recap video to help those who didn’t play the first two catch up, on top refreshing the memories of those of us who haven’t played them for a long time. 

There will also be a scene in which Ryo calls Nozomi, and that also serves as a display of his memories of what happened so far. 

According to Suzuki-san even those who didn’t play the original titles shouldn’t have any problems enjoying the new story.

After that, we see more cutscenes of the new game mixed with some from the original titles as Suzuki-san talks about protagonist Ryo Hazuki himself, and his relationship with Shenhua.
