No Man’s Sky Prisms Update Introduces a New Graphical Overhaul

Developer Hello Games brought its popular space exploration game No Man’s Sky into the next console generation earlier this year, but today the developer has announced yet more enhancements with an all-new visual overhaul update. Prisms, as it’s called, “dramatically refreshes the No Man’s Sky experience with a range of new visual features and technologies.”

There’s also new content in the form of the Synthesis Laboratory, a new terminal has been added to the blueprint research area of the Space Anomaly. A detailed breakdown of every new feature, including comparison images, can be read over on the official patch note article here.

Hello Games’ support of No Man’s Sky has kept a blistering pace since its launch back in 2017, the most recent of which added a new game mode called Expeditions, and before that a bunch of cutesy alien companions became available.

No Man’s Sky is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
