Neptunia ReVerse for PS5 Reveals “Adjusted” Box Art; Uncensored Japanese Art Included on Reverse Side

Today Idea Factory International revealed the western box art of its upcoming JRPG Neptunia ReVerse, alongside its reversible art.

The box art is similar to the Japanese original, but several “revealing” part of the costumes have been covered up. Idea Factory is quite transparent in mentioning that the artwork has been “adjusted for retail” on the official press release.

Indeed, this usually isn’t done due to a will to censor the art, but simply because this kind of detail doesn’t go down well with mass-market retailers that display them on the shelves.

That being said, the good folks at Compile Heart are still providing the original Japanese art on the other side of the reversible jacket, ensuring that you’re not going to miss out.
