Look Out Behind You, Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition is Launching This August

If you missed out on the original Sega CD run of the cheesy Night Trap back in 1992, you can jump right in without missing a beat when Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition comes out as a digital edition on August 15, announced by way of developer Screaming Villains.

The game is coming to both PlayStation 4 and PC in both standard and collector’s edition versions, up for grabs via Limited Run Games on August 11. You might want to pony up for the collector’s edition, especially since it’ll only be available for a short amount of time, and nearly everyone knows about Night Trap, its FMV segments, and hilarious song. Plus, the collector’s edition comes with a sweet cassette with the song on it.

Check out the new trailer, but don’t sleep on this cult classic. It should make for a pretty fun weekend if you bring a few friends over and get them involved. Plus, the ’90s is super hot right now.
