The Last Guardian finally has a confirmed release date, and Sony is reminding fans that yes, this game does exist, by releasing a few new screenshots. The screenshots show off Trico and his boy companion exploring some forestry and venturing off into what looks like a rather creepy and dim dungeon. You can check out the new screenshots in the gallery down below.

The game will follow the story of Trico and this young boy as they journey across a mysterious land together. The story will be one of bonds and companionship, and players will take control of the boy as they try to work with Trico and gain the trust of this mysterious creature. The Last Guardian was announced some years ago, and has been in development for quite a long time – it might even rival Final Fantasy XV, so it’s great to see that the game is shaping up well.

The game is set to be released exclusively for the PS4 on October 25.
