Hob Release Date and Pre-Order Details Announced

Hob from Runic Games has a solid release date now. The studio announced that the title will be available in September. Hob is coming to PlayStation 4 and PC, and Runic Games has announced that those that pre-order will receive discounts.

Everyone who pre-orders on PS4 will get a 10 percent discount, and if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you’ll get an additional 10 percent off, making the game 20 percent off in total. Each person who pre-orders on PSN will get a “World Shift” dynamic theme for free as well.

PC pre-orders will also get 10 percent off. If you want to grab some of Runic Games’ other titles in addition to Hob, starting today on GOG and Steam, the Runic Games Collection will be available, which contains Torchlight, Torchlight 2, and Hob for only $24.99.

If you’re wondering if Hob is right for you, here are a few details. It’s an adventure game set on a chaotic world. You’ll need to solve puzzles and explore to transform the planet back into a form that can sustain life. The narrative is told without any spoken or written words and is revealed by the action on the screen as you explore and interact with the planet.
