Gearbox Software Is Opening a New Studio In Québec

Gearbox Software’s founder Randy Pitchford just announced that Gearbox is hiring for a new Québec office. The announcement was made with a tweet, which links to an application site listing all the available positions. Pitchford also shared that there are more details to come Friday, December 11.

The iconic studio is responsible for such series as Borderlands, Brothers in Arms and the Half-Life expansions Blue Shift, Opposing Forces, and Decay. Oh, and you can also thank them for picking up the development black hole that was Duke Nukem Forever, a process that took a whopping 15 years in all.

Here’s to a successful launch and expansion of a great studio. What do you hope to see Gearbox develop in the near future?
