Today Square Enix released the official trailer of the upcoming update 5.4 for Final Fantasy XIV, titled “Futures Rewritten.”

We also gets a release date for the update, which will launch on PS4 and PC on December 8.

The trailer showcases on the content that we can expect from the patch, including the beginning of a new storyline after the end of the one started with the Shadowbringers expansion.
