Fall Guys Season 2 Trailer to Premiere at Opening Night Live

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Mediatonic’s party game, Fall Guys, has quickly become one summer 2020’s smash hits, and today we’ve learned there’s more content on the way. Teased today by industry personality Geoff Keighley, Fall Guys Season 2 will be revealed during Opening Night Live, the curtain-raiser for Gamescom’s digital showcase this year airing next week, Aug. 27.

Ever the hype-man, Keighley subsequently explains in a reply that he’s seen the trailer already and fans of the game won’t be disappointed.

The news will be a huge boon for Fall Guy’s enormous player base, which numbered 2 million over on Steam after a week on the market. That doesn’t include a large number of PS Plus subscribers who scooped up the game up as a freebie this month.

For Twinfinite’s recent review of Fall Guys, we scored it 3/5 and concluded:

“Still, there is a very promising kernel at the core of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. With some more game mode variety, some basic controller and accessibility options, and a stable player base, I could see it being a great alternative to other live-service games. It just isn’t quite there yet.”
