Koei Tecmo took to Twitter to announce a release date for the first update of 2020, on top of the fourth season pass.

Both will be released on January 21, alongside “many contents” that haven’t been detailed for the moment.

The patch itself will be numbered 1.18, as you can see in the tweet below.

The release of a new season pass usually means a brand new costume pack to kick things off, alongside two bonus costumes for those who purchase the season pass itself.

We don’t know whether there will also be another of those revival costume packs Koei Tecmo seems to be very fond of as of late.

It’ll be interesting to see what Team Ninja will come up to, but for now we’ll have to wait until January 21.
