Take part in this giveaway to win a copy of Atelier Ryza and one of Atelier Ryza 2 for the platform of your choice.

To celebrate the Holidays, we teamed up with Koei Tecmo to bring you a very special giveaway, giving you a chance to win a special package including both games.

You heard it right: the second game of the series will release in the west only at the end of January, but you can already secure your copy for the platform of your choice by winning it here.

Of course, you won’t get it before launch (we aren’t licensed for miracles just yet), so the winner will receive a digital copy of the original Atelier Ryza as soon as the giveaway ends, and a digital copy of Atelier Ryza 2 on release day (in North America on January 26, 2020, and in Europe on Jan. 29).

The way to get involved is really, really easy.

All you have to do is to comment on our articles, everywhere on the site. The more you comment, the better your chances. We want to hear your opinions and insight, and there is no better way for that to happen than sharing your comments with us.

An important caveat is that comments on this post are not eligible for the giveaway. Of course, you’re welcome to comment here, but in order to participate, you need to comment at least on one other article.

On January 4 at 11:59 EDT, we’ll randomly select a comment made after this post has been published, and the author of that comment will win the digital download codes for the games.

Of course, spam comments and throwaway one-liners will be disqualified, as we’d like to promote interesting commentary and conversations among our readers.

The winner will be able to select platforms and regions between PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, North America, or Europe. Of course, the original Atelier Ryza is not available for PS5, but the PS4 version can be played on the new console.

Once the winner has been drawn, I will respond to the winning comment, and we’ll also publish a link to it in an update to this post. At that point, you should respond to my comment, and at the same time, send me a mail at [email protected] indicating your Disqus nickname and your platforms/region of choice. The timing is important, as it’ll prove that you are indeed the winner.

If the prize isn’t claimed within three days of the announcement, we will proceed to draw another winner.

Once more, do keep in mind that comments on all articles on Twinfinite (excluding this one) are valid to enter this giveaway. The more you comment, the more chances you have to win.

If you’d like to hear more about the games, you can read our review of Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and our hands-on preview of Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy.

Update: the giveaway is now closed. the winner has been decided! Find the winning comment below. Congratulations! If you’re listed, please follow the bolded instructions above to claim your prize. Do keep in mind that if a prize isn’t claimed by Friday, January 8, that entry will be disqualified and we’ll proceed to draw another winner.

Bakario: Our hope to read this in English is a fan port (a group had announced that they will do it) to PC, probably this remake going to have the same engine that previous Type Moon’s VNs. I wouldn’t expect an official localization neither a PC release in Japanese, considering none of Type Moon VNs hasn’t localized in English officially.

If you did not win, stand-by, because there will be more giveaways going forward, and thank you for your support! Also, please remember to keep commenting. There is no better reward for our writers than seeing that you care about our content.
