Ubisoft has revealed the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for Assassin’s Creed Origins, alongside other PC-specific features.

According to the game’s producer, Jose Araiza, the minimum requirements can achieve 720p resolution at 30 frames per second (FPS), while better hardware can reach 4K resolution at 30 FPS or 1080p/1200p with a higher framerate. Players can choose a target framerate at 30, 45, 60, 90 FPS, or completely uncap it.

Assassin’s Creed Origins on PC will also have a built-in performance benchmark, and dynamic resolution rendering to hit the target framerate at all times by adjusting the resolution. Dynamic resolution rendering will be in the console version as well, but PC players will have the option to turn it off completely.

Additionally, the install size for the PC version is 45 GB and there will be a day one patch, though the size of the patch has yet to be determined. Ubisoft will announce preload dates and times at a later date.

The game will require a one-time online connection for activation, and can be played completely offline after, though a daily connection to servers is necessary for some features that have not been announced yet. The studio also said the development team is “already working” on PC updates to be detailed later.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is scheduled to release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Oct. 27.
