Today, during Nvidia’s CES 2019 press conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, BioWare introduced a new trailer of its upcoming online action RPG Anthem.
The video showcases the game running on PC, and it certainly looks really beautiful, with great image quality and 4K resolution.
Most interestingly, we get the confirmation that Nvidia and BioWare are partnering to include DLSS technology in the game. If you’re wondering, that stands for Deep Learning Super Sampling.
What does DLSS do, you ask? It basically uses artificial intelligence to bring a higher quality image.
“DLSS leverages a deep neural network to extract multidimensional features of the rendered scene and intelligently combine details from multiple frames to construct a high-quality final image. DLSS uses fewer input samples than traditional techniques such as TAA, while avoiding the algorithmic difficulties such techniques face with transparency and other complex scene elements.”
You can check it out below. If you want to see more of Anthem, you can enjoy another recent batch of gameplay, and a recent trailer from last month.
Anthem will release on Feb. 22, 2019, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Those who pre-ordered the game will be able to access a “VIP Demo” between Jan. 25 and Jan. 27.
