How to Save Your Game in Spider-Man PS4

Here’s how to save your game in Spider-Man PS4.

Spider-Man PS4 has finally swung its way onto our consoles, courtesy of the talented folk over at Insomniac Games. Telling an entirely new Spidey story, the game will have players swinging around Manhattan trying to rescue the city from crime, while also uncovering a larger plot.

You’ll upgrade your suits and abilities, find collectibles, and plenty more, so it’s a good idea to make sure you save your game to avoid losing any progress.

First things first, it’s worth noting that the game does seem to utilize an auto-save function. This appears to occur whenever you complete a mission, grab a collectible, or purchase a skill or upgrade of some sort.

There also appears to be checkpoints when playing through a mission, to prevent you from having to go way, way back to the very beginning.

It’s worth noting, however, that there is an option to do this manually in the game. If you’re feeling a little untrustworthy of the automated system, all you need to do is press the Options button on your PS4 controller.

This will bring up the game’s pause menu, and you’ll see the Manual Save option here.

There are five slots you can then record your progress into, so simply select whichever one you want and press X. Confirm you want to record your progress and give the game a second.

We recommend always using the manual option within the game before quitting the game, just for peace of mind!

And that’s literally all you need to know to save your game in Spider-Man PS4. Now, get out there, swing to your heart’s content, and web up some bad guys.
