Here’s how to switch gadgets in Spider-Man PS4.
While in past games, Spider-Man has relied almost exclusively on his strength and agility, with only the need for a few gizmos, Insomniac’s version of the game has a collection of gadgets that would make even the Dark Knight smile. And, just like the character of Batman, this Spider-Man’s use of these is built into the story of the character.

With so many available to use though, it’s easy to become overwhelmed. How do you even switch through all of these web shooters when there are so many to choose from? Fear not, we’ve got you covered. But let’s make sure first that you know what you’re getting into with them.
How to Get Gadgets
First and foremost, we should probably go through how to get gadgets in the first place within the game. This will be quick, no worries.
This answer is answered simply. You just need to play on through the game. Over time, you’ll be introduced to more and more of them.
Each one is unique and lets you take on challenges that the main quest will put in your way. You can even upgrade them all, too. You just need the appropriate tokens to do so.
How to Switch Through Gadgets
While the game will teach you how to do this, it’s easy to forget how to utilize the gadget wheel. It’s especially easy to forget when you’re taking down goons left and right with no time to stop and think (less you give up that stacked combo you’ve spent the past two minutes creating). Remember this during those heated moments: L1.
To switch through them, you simply need to hold L1. Doing so will bring up the Gadget Select. If you’ve done it correctly, you’ll see a large wheel on the screen displaying all of your available ones in different sectors of the wheel.
To select one of those gadgets, continue holding L1 and while doing so, use R (the right stick) to move the highlight to the gadget you wish to switch to.
Once you’ve got the highlight moved to the right gadget, let go of L1 and you should see that Spidey now has the gadget you selected equipped.
