Is Mario Kart Tour Coming to 3DS?
We don’t have much information on the upcoming mobile title, Mario Kart Tour, since it was announced back in early 2018. If you’re here though, you’re likely wondering if Mario Kart Tour is coming to 3DS.
The few things that we do know about the game is that it will adopt a free-to-start model similar to another one of Nintendo’s mobile games, Super Mario Run.
Super Mario Run allowed users to download the app for free, letting you play the first few levels for no charge at all, but if you wanted to continue and unlock the rest of the stages, there was a one-time $9.99 fee that gave you everything.
Unlike, Fire Emblem Heroes and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, there were no micro-transactions of any kind and felt more like a completed Mario game than anything else.
As of right now, it seems that the game will only be coming to mobile devices and will not be seeing a release on the Nintendo 3DS. If this pocket racer is anything like the other mobile games that Nintendo has put out, then seeing a release on any other platform besides mobile devices is highly unlikely.
