While there are mounted turrets at certain map locations, it is a lot of work to both find a vehicle and drive it in range of one. There is a much better method.
How To Use a Mounted Turret to Damage Vehicles in Fortnite
- In Sanctuary there is a guaranteed Battle Bus spawn on the east side close to the water.
- Grab the bus and head almost straight west to this gas station.
There will certainly be at least one vehicle here. The damage required can be done to an unoccupied vehicle.
- Once you have driven up to the gas station, simply hit the button shown on screen to switch seats.
The button will be R3 or PlayStation/Xbox and L-Ctrl for PC players using the default control mapping.
- This will put you into the turret at the front of the Battle Bus.
- Now just simply shoot the vehicles you see and the challenge will be complete.
