Best AMR9 Loadout in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone

An SMG that can contend with the best.

There is nothing more synonymous than Call of Duty and SMGs. Throughout the years and across the franchise, they have always been the best weapons. MW3 and Warzone do little to change that, and so here we have a guide covering the best AMR9 loadout.

Best AMR9 Attachments

The AMR9 started its career as a lackluster jack-of-all-trades type of weapon, it was decent at close range, decent and medium and long, but never excelled in any area. Today, that sentiment is long been disproven as the AMR9 shoots up in popularity with players running vastly different builds of the same weapon. Currently, its beating favorites like the WSP Swarm and Striker in both TTK and reliability. Our version focuses on insane accuracy, high damage, and effectiveness at all ranges.

The best attachments are as follows:

  • Muzzle: JAK BFB
  • Barrel: AMR9 Enforcer Long Barrel
  • Ammunition: 9MM High Grain Rounds
  • Optic: NYDAR Model 2023
  • Magazine: 100 Round Magazine

To completely nullify recoil at the expense of stealth we use the JAK BFB to ensure that our shots always hit true and we do not have to fight against our weapon. The AMR9 Enforcer Long Barrel is the perfect pair as its increase to our damage and range help those easy-to-hit shots land harder.

9MM High Grain Rounds reduce our recoil in exchange for even more damage, a perfect trade since our muzzle is already mitigating a vast amount of inaccuracy. Our optic of choice is the NYDAR Model 2023 as a clean optic that fits perfectly on the AMR9.

Finally, the 100-round magazine is a drum mag that will keep you chugging out bullets for days without ever needing to reload. It’s perfect for intense situations that have you pitted against multiple enemies.

Best AMR9 Perks

Here we will list our general perk package for Warzone, feel free to swap in other perks to your preference, but for those wanting a basic set that will do them good, then read on.

The best perks are as follows:

  • Perk 1: Sleight of Hand
  • Perk 2: Double Time
  • Perk 3: Tempered
  • Perk 4: High Alert

Since Warzone features double primary weapons, Sleight of Hand may just be the better option than swapping weapons, despite Gaz’s words. Reloading quicker cannot be underestimated in certain circumstances. Double Time is an absolute must-have in Warzone. We prefer Tempered in slot 3 as it gives us a 33% faster plating time, utilizes more efficient plates, and frees up some backpack space for grenades, flashes, or other gadgets.

As our last perk, we have High Alert, its valuable intel can save your life, and help with rotates and positions of enemy squads. Its value only increases as the game continues and you find yourself in the final circle.

Best AMR9 Attachments

The AMR9 is a devastating close-range weapon with the potential to blast through an entire lobby of enemy combatants in the right environment.

Its bouncy recoil is due to its extremely high fire rate, but fear not; the AMR9 is a controllable beast. Players with higher skill will find their shots and subsequent kills racking up quicker than most, and its mobility is parallel to the best SMGs, meaning you can traverse the map with blinding speed.

To make it the best it can be, there are a few attachments we need to fix onto the AMR9 to truly bring it to stardom.

The best attachments are as follows:

  • Muzzle: Tectonic Micro Integral Suppressor
  • Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Magazine: 50 Round Magazine

To keep us off the minimap we use the Tectonic Micro Integral Suppressor barrel that has a built-in suppressor while also offering a boost in mobility and ADS speeds. Further improving our mobility we use the DR-6 Handstop and pair it with the VLK LZR 7MW laser for the perfect amount of movement speed and deftness to keep us on the move.

The Slate Reflector is a personal favorite this season but can be swapped out for any of your preferences. However, the 50-Round Magazine is a must-have to ensure we can continue to spray enemies with lead for longer periods.

Best AMR9 Perks

Modern Warfare 3’s interesting perk system has fans enamored with designing their best loadout. Perks have been redesigned to be pieces of body gear that all have abilities and bonus effects. From Gloves and Boots to Gear, you can now mix and match the correct perks for your class.

The AMR9 is an SMG, so we want to slip on gear that will bolster a sub-machine gun’s game plan. The best perks are as follows:

  • Vest: Infantry Vest
  • Gloves: Scavenger Gloves
  • Boots: Covert Sneakers
  • Gear: EOD Padding

Starting our perks list we use the Infantry Vest for swifter rotations throughout the maps with fast Tac Sprint recharge and duration. Scavenger Gloves are the perfect pair to offset an SMG’s hunger for ammo. Thanks to these finger-warmers, we can nullify that disadvantage instantly. MW3’s version of Dead Silence is the Cover Sneakers that will allow you to run a full sprint across the map without anyone hearing you. The EOD Padding can be switched out for a Tac-Mask if more tactical equipment is being thrown since EOD protects against explosives.

That’s our best AMR9 loadout in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. Check out our other Call of Duty guides, news, and updates below, and keep it here at Twinfinite for all the latest developments around the series.
