Best Lachmann-762 Loadout in Warzone & Modern Warfare 3

This may be the single best weapon in Warzone 2...

As a Battle Rifle, the Lachmann-762 is in that weird position between an assault rifle and a marksman rifle. Thankfully, we have done the due diligence and found the best way to build this old dog and teach it some new tricks. Here is the best Lachmann-762 loadout.

Best Lachmann-762 Attachments

The Lachmann-762 is another weapon in the strange Battle Rifle class and can be used as both a single-shot rifle and a fully automatic gun. Due to this, it has extremely powerful recoil and very little damage or range compensation, so for the Lachmann-762 to be built correctly we have to address the incredible gun kick.

The best attachments are as follows:

  • Muzzle: Lockshot KT85
  • Barrel: Romeo FT 16″ Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Magazine: 50 Round Magazine

As expected with old-generation weapons the kick is powerful so we first start with the Lockshot KT85 muzzle and the Buren Heavy Support Grip to mitigate that bounce. The Romeo FT 16″ Barrel helps increase our damage range for our bullets to bite harder and keep up with the long sightlines in Warzone.

We use the Slate Reflector for a clean optic and the must-have 50-Round Magazine for gunning through an entire squad of enemy operators.

Best Lachmann-762 Perks

Warzone’s perk system has seen no changes, so here we are going to list our general perk package for consistent wins. Feel free to change any perks to your preferences.

The best perks are as follows:

  • Perk 1: Sleight of Hand
  • Perk 2: Double Time
  • Perk 3: Tempered
  • Perk 4: High Alert

Mobility is the name of the game in Warzone and for that reason, we have the Sleight of Hand and Double Time pair. Sleight of Hand is more effective than ever since we now can sprint and reload. Double Time has always been a must-have in Warzone, so it’s an obvious.

Using Tempered will increase your plating speed by 33% while upping the efficiency of every plate by around 12 – 15% so not only will you need less, but they will do more, freeing your bag for other gadgets. Finally, High Alert will keep your back safe and watch over you like a guardian angel.

Best Lachmann-762 Attachments

MW3’s new movement mechanics, revamped maps, and new weapons hurt the old generation of weapons more than they helped them. The old guards feature higher recoil and similar damage, but a giant increase in inconsistency. For the Lachmann-762 to thrive we need to make some drastic changes to its loadout.

The best attachments are as follows:

  • Muzzle: Bore-490
  • Barrel: MEER-56 11″ Factory Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip
  • Optic: Mk. 3 Reflector
  • Rear Grip: LMK64 Grip

Two of our five attachments directly support recoil control, accuracy, and reducing gun kick; The Bore-490 and the Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip. Together they help stabilize the Lachmann-762 to ensure we can hit our shots.

The MEER-56 Barrel and the LMK64 Grip increase our mobility, ADS speeds, and sprint to fire speeds so we can stay competitive with all the new movement in MW3. Finally, our optic of choice is the Mk. 3 Reflector for something clean and uncluttered.

Best Lachmann-762 Perks

This Battle Rifle is best used in fully automatic firing mode for the best chances of taking down enemy operators. For this reason, we want to have perks that will help us keep up with other players in the MW3 environment.

The best perks are as follows:

  • Vest: Infantry Vest
  • Gloves: Quick Grip Gloves
  • Boots: Covert Sneakers
  • Gear: EOD Padding

The Infantry Vest offers supreme mobility for any and every weapon, the Lachmann-762 desperately needs the boost in mobility. Quick Grip Gloves ensure we can switch to our secondary at a moment’s notice if we run out of ammo or find ourselves in a disadvantageous position. Covert Sneakers remove footstep sound (Dead Silence), allowing you to slip in and out of enemy territory without anyone knowing. Finally, EOD padding keeps you safe from stray frag grenades or killstreaks.

That’s everything you need to know regarding the best Lachmann-762 loadout in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3. Be sure to check out our other best loadout guides to get that edge over the competition!
