How To Complete Badge of Honor in Warzone DMZ

Completing this mission is a badge of honor.

Warzone’s DMZ mode has received a lot of new missions, gear and a new PHALANX Faction following on from the implementation of Season 4. One mission is called Badge of Honor, but how do you complete it in Warzone DMZ?

DMZ Badge of Honor Mission Guide

Badge of Honor is a Tier 2 Mission within the Black Mous Faction. It’s especially important because PHALANX, the new Faction that came to DMZ in Season 4, is only unlockable once players have earned sufficient reputation in the Black Mous Faction and completed the Icebreaker mission.

Icebreaker is the Tier 2 Story Mission but is only unlockable after completing a series of Tier 2 missions – of which Badge of Honor is one.

Tasks

First, let’s look at what we need to do to complete the Badge of Honor mission in DMZ. There’s two Tasks:

  1. Acquire a Basilisk, commonly found in Police Stations.
  2. Kill 9 enemies with headshots using a Basilisk.

On the surface, it’s pretty simple. In reality, it’s more difficult. Now we’ve got the required Tasks out the way, we need to find a Police Station.

All Police Stations in Al Mazrah

The best Exclusion Zone to complete Badge of Honor in is Al Mazrah, because there’s three separate Police Stations.

One is in Sa’id City, one is in Al-Mazrah City and the final one is near Mawizeh Marshlands. We’ve marked them all on the map below.

Finding a Basilisk

As the Tasks indicate, a Basilisk is not guaranteed to drop at a Police Station. You may have to visit more than one to find the weapon you need. We found the most success at Sa’id City, specifically upstairs in the room with shelves that is adjacent to the locked Police Armory.

The Basilisk itself is a heavy revolver and shouldn’t be too difficult to locate. Just make sure you check shelves, desks and cabinets. The couple of times we found one in a Police Station, it was on a shelving unit at about waist height.

Eliminations With the Basilisk

Now the Basilisk has been acquired, we need to eliminate 9 enemies to round off the Badge of Honor tasks. It doesn’t matter what kind of enemies (AI, real players, armored etc), it just needs to be 9 enemies all finished with headshots.

What we’d recommend here is finding an unsuspecting and lowly-armored group of AI. Make sure you’ve got some armor plates in reserve and enough ammo in your Basilisk. That’s another reason we favored the Sa’id City Police Station – there’s an ammo refill station just opposite it in the multi-storey parking lot.

Un-armored enemies can be eliminated in one or two Basilisk shots. Those with armor and protective helmets take 2 or 3 headshots, meaning they’re much more difficult to eliminate and will fire back in the meantime.

Rewards

Once that’s done, we can look to exfil or complete another mission and, most importantly, enjoy rewards for completing the Badge of Honor mission. These are:

  1. Fennec 45 Contraband
  2. 7,500 XP
  3. +200 Black Mous Reputation

It’ll push you closer to the aforementioned Icebreaker Story Mission and therefore the PHALANX Faction.

That’s everything to know about completing the Badge of Honor DMZ Mission in Warzone. For all the latest from CoD and Season 4, whatever mode you’re playing, stick with us at Twinfinite.
