The images were, as usual, provided by the official community Twitter account Rappy.Commu with some of the notes translated via the official PSO2 global Twitter account.

The enemies below belong to a different type named “Formers” and are named “Houdan Roa”, “Crag Bear”, “Ard Bangsar”, and “Ard Banshee.”

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will come for the same platforms as Phantasy Star Online 2 which in the west is (for now) Xbox and PC, while in Japan it will release for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

If you want to see more, you can check out the latest official gameplay, another set of videos, more from just before Christmasand the previously-released footageon top of plenty more from the earlier closed beta.

Incidentally, a second phase of the closed beta has just ended in Japan, and we already know that one for the global market is also coming, even if we don’t yet know when it’ll happen.

Proud weeb hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long-standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
