If you’re among those, today Avex published a look at the musical that debuted in Japan in November.

Since most of us were unable to travel, it’s a good chance to get at least a taste of it.

The musical is a surprisingly accurate reproduction of the game, including its LIPS dialogue system which fans will instantly recognize when watching the video.

As an added bonus, the whole thing is subtitled in English. You can watch it below.

Sakura Wars is now available exclusively for PS4 and you can read our review.

If you want to see more about the game, can also check out a music video dedicated to Sakuraone featuring Hatsuho one focusing on Elise, another showing Claris, one showcasing Lancelot, another starring Huang Yui, and one showing Anastasia.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Sakura Wars series, you should take a look at my dedicated article explaining what it’s all about and why you should care.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
