The digital event is designed to replace the publisher’s participation at Anime Expo, which won’t happen in physical form this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Muv-Luv Expo will start on July 1 and unlike the recent digital event “Comifuri: I Don’t Want Dojin Circles to Get Hurt, So I Maxed Out My Web Event,” it will be aimed primarily to the western audience.

While a full schedule has not been revealed just yet, the press release promises  “lots of info on upcoming games” including Project Mikhail and Project Immortal.

According to the announcement, we can expect “something truly special” and the full schedule will be revealed on the teaser site on June 19.

In the meanwhile, you can check out the event’s illustration featuring the new mascot characters Cherno-chan and Lux-tan, who are the waifu versions of a Su-37 Terminator and of a Laser-Class BETA.

If you want to learn more about Muv-Luv in general, you can simply play the games available in English, and we happen to have a giveaway going on right now through which you can win all three of them. That being said, you need to hurry, because the giveaway closes exactly one hour from now.

You should also definitely read our interview with creator Kouki Yoshimune-san and produicer Kazutoshi Matsumura, alongside our most recent chat with Kitakuo about Project Immortal.

Last, but not least, we have a detailed report of the 20th-anniversary event recently hosted in Tokyo, which was rich with announcements including the reveal of Muv-Luv Integrate , the announcement of Project Mikhail , an update on Muv-Luv Unlimited The Day After and on the Android version of the original trilogy , and the tease of the reboot of Kimiga Nozomu Eien.
