The tournament will be open to all, as you don’t need to own a copy of the game in order to enter. All that is required is a Nintendo Switch and a Nintendo Switch Online membership.

Registration begins today and will go until April 4 at 10 AM PT at which point the tournament will begin. If you’re interested in participating, register at battlefy.com/arms. If you are Canadian or from the US, you must be 13+ in order to participate, and if you’re from Mexico, you must be 18+.

ARMS released on June 16, 2017, for the Nintendo Switch exclusively and went on to sell over two million copies.

As the title suggests, ARMS is a fighting game in which the player has extendable limbs that are used to punch opponents. Fighting can be done with tradition button inputs, or with the joycon motion controls. Many praised the game for its uniqueness and charm.

If you’re interested in ARMS and have never played it before there is a demo available.
