Today Square Enix released two trailers related to the latest mainline game of the Final Fantasy franchise, Final Fantasy XV.
The first trailer is a “second-anniversary memorial” to celebrate the second birthday of the game. It’s actually a bit late, considering that the game was released on Nov. 29, 2016.
The video is a nostalgic look at the game paired with the song “Horizon” by Tokyo-based rock band The Yello Monkey. It’s certainly rather emotional for those who loved the game, especially thinking about the fact that we’ll never get the full “A New Dawn” experience due to the cancellation of most of the upcoming DLC.
Speaking of DLC, we also get a teaser of the one we are still getting, Episode Ardyn, and more precisely of the “Prologue” anime that will set the stage for the game.
Do keep in mind that both videos include what could be considered spoilers if you haven’t played the original game.
Final Fantasy XV is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It just received a sizable update and a crossover quest with Final Fantasy XIV. Episode Ardyn launches in March 2019 for the same platforms. You can check the videos below and let the feels flow.
