New Resident Evil 2 Mini-Trailers Show Claire, Lickers, Herbs, Samurai Edge, and More

Today Capcom released several mini-trailers of its upcoming Resident Evil 2 remake, giving more glimpses of the highly-anticipated title.

The first video focuses on female protagonist Claire Redfield (male protagonist Leon Kennedy also appears). The second showcases the iconic herbs and their beneficial combinations. The third shows how you can combine gunpowder with the proper ingredient to make grenades for your launcher. The fourth shows off everyone’s favorite ceiling hanger, the licker. Last, but not least, we see the Samurai Edge gun, which will be awarded to those who pre-order.

You can check out all the videos below, and enjoy the injection of healthy nostalgia mixed with the excitement for the new visuals powered by the Resident Evil engine.

If you want to see more, you can enjoy a look at the classic costumes that will be distributed for free, the Noir and Arklay Sheriff sets, and Claire’s military outfit.

Resident Evil 2 launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Jan. 25, 2019. January and February certainly look absolutely packed with goodness this year. Too many games, too little time.
