Just Cause 4, xbox one game releases december 2018

Watch Lots of Just Cause 4 Gameplay Played by Square Enix’s President

Today the Japanese arm of Square Enix presented a nice chunk of gameplay of the upcoming open-world action game Just Cause 4.

Interestingly, the player at the controls of Avalanche Studios’ hero Rico Rodriguez was the publisher’s President and CEO Yosuke Matsuda himself, at least for the first two videos below.

Matsuda-san definitely enjoys western games, so much that he makes a point to present them himself both at major events and during livestreamed showcases like this one. He did it before with games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Hitman.

Matsuda-san wasn’t the only well-known player to pick up a controller and try his hand at Just Cause 4. In the third video, you can see idol Iori Amamiya, a member of the idol group Moso Calibration.

I’ll let you be the judge of the quality of gameplay, but it’s certainly a rather chunky look at the upcoming open-world title. You can check out all the videos below.

If you want to see more of Just Cause 4, you can watch the latest trailer, and another presenting the game’s villain. You should also not forget to read our hands-on preview.

The game has already gone gold and will be released on December 4th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
