Top 10 Biggest E3 2018 Surprises

Command and Conquer is one of gaming’s legendary franchises but it hasn’t seen a release since the ill-received Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight back in 2010. EA took the stage at their E3 2018 press conference and announced to the world Command and Conquer: Rivals, a mobile game for IOS and Android.

The reception has been lukewarm at best. It probably has less to do with the mobile gaming looking good or not good, but the inevitable disappointment of seeing mobile devices get a new C&C game before PC. There hasn’t been a mainline Command and Conquer in eight years, and this new project drifts the series further from what people fell in love with to begin with. Regardless of how you feel about it though, it certainly was a surprise!
