In case you’re wondering what all of that mumbo jumbo means, we’ll translate for you. Fortnite Battle Royale has hit 525K peak concurrent users and 3.7 million daily active users across the North American, European, Oceania regions.

Despite controversy over the game’s similarities to the also super popular but also super not free, Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds, Fortnite Battle Royale continues to truck on. It’s already available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, unlike PUBG which is still only out on PC and will be releasing on Xbox One later this year.

While some might point out the difference in aesthetics and the fort building mechanics that are present in Fortnite, by far the biggest difference is the price, and that is likely factoring heavily into Fortnite’s popularity, aside from it also being pretty fun.

It will be interesting to see how this feud, rivalry or whatever you want to call it of sorts between the two games plays out, but for now it seems like players are going to continue to enjoy both games.
