Out of all the big TV shows to ever grace our small screens, Friends and The Big Bang Theory are arguably two of the most resonant and iconic. Yes, NBC and CBS’s popular sitcoms not only made waves with audiences when they were released back in 1994 and 2007, respectively, but they’ve also gone on to become much-needed comfort food for us on rainy days in the here and now.

Of all the characters on the shows, Sheldon Cooper and Ross Geller stick out as having a lot in common with each other. Both are essentially the “smarty pants” characters of their respective shows, and each have their own loveable, idiosyncratic quirks – like us all, I guess!
